The ministry of JIL (Jesus Is Lord Church) here in Denmark started in the year 2000. Like other JIL outreaches in the globe, the church started from a small group of home bible study that grew in number over the years which eventually prompted our transfer to a bigger worship venue. Presently, the attendees of the regular worship service consists of Filipinos and other nationalities like African, Swedish, Romanian, Latin American and, of course,

Danish.

We are blessed to have the privilege of using the Allehelgens Kirke (Lutheran Church) located at No.43 Ungarnsgade, 2300 Kbh.South in Amager where many Filipinos in Denmark reside.

As it is natural for Filipinos anywhere in the world to be integrated with other groups or organizations whether foreign or Filipino by foundation, we reach out to people through participation in simple gatherings or activities to big social events. In this way, we get to know each other better and establish a deeper spiritual bond, and at the same time winning new members for the church.

Here in Denmark, JIL is a part of and has an active involvement in the activities of Christian Churches in winning people for Jesus Christ. The heart of our mission is to share the good news of salvation and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to every people we encounter, regardless of nationalities, race or colour. It is our aim to see them grow in faith and be a part of evangelizing other people.

We welcome everyone in our regular meeting every Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Allehelgens Kirke.

Lastly, the JIL people are committed in praying for salvation, peace and blessing of the entire Denmark nation because we believe that "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." We proclaim that Jesus Christ Is Lord over Denmark!
